The entry includes a downloadable letter and notes regarding the new system. Spare Courts
Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings are reserved for matches, but not every night (especially Saturdays) has been allocated. If you are a club member and would like to book a court for match practice, coaching or just for fun, check with Maureen which dates and times are available.
Courts cost £5.00 per hour and players should provide their own shuttles. Players will be expected to respect those playing matches on adjacent courts. Rearranged matches will always take precedence over private bookings.

Coaching
Coaching … a term usually associated with our juniors but do all our adult players do the "right" things? Are you tactically sound? Can you execute all the strokes efficiently? Do you serve legally? Do you ever book a court in order to practice a technique or tactic?
If your answer is “NO” to any of these questions then how about getting some help? Mike Webster is our Coaching Officer who would be glad to organise some group coaching (not during the session evening) for interested parties. Talk amongst yourselves, get a group of kindred spirits together and ask Mike to arrange something.

The Club Star Accreditation Scheme
For those of you, eager and willing to introduce players to our club, you might like to mention that we participate in this scheme, organised by the B.A.of E.
In fact both our senior badminton club and our junior badminton club hold the highest, the 5-Star Award. There are only three clubs in Surrey to enjoy the 5-Stars and there are very few in the country. To find out what makes us the "bee's knees", consult the Surrey C.B. A. Annual Handbook.
