Ebbisham designated Badminton Performance Centre - July 2009
Following the awarding of Clubmark and Badminton England Premier Club status two years ago, Ebbisham has now been designated a Badminton Performance Centre.
The BADMINTON England Performance Centres programme is focused on developing a Performance pathway to run alongside a strong Club pathway to raise standards of play throughout the country. The aspiration of a Badminton Performance Centre is to create a hub of badminton activity where players, coaches and volunteers can progress, reach their potential and satisfy their own ambition within the sport, and in an environment that is accessible and welcoming for all.

Clubmark status for Ebbisham Badminton
Ebbisham Badminton Club have been presented with the highest award possible for a sports club. They have achieved Clubmark status and can now be designated a BADMINTON England Premier Club.

Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics
At the Badminton committee meeting on 31st July, it was agreed that the club adopts the Badminton England Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct.
Hard copies will be put up on the notice board, but the Codes can be viewed on the Badminton England website. The Codes can be found from the main menu by following Coaching -> General Information -> Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct, or simply click here.

New 'Rally Points Scoring System'
The Surrey County Badminton Association have posted an item titled "Adult News (Added 26th June 2006)" describing the 'consultation period' that Surrey is undertaking. The entry includes a downloadable letter and notes regarding the new system. The Association are asking secretaries and match secretaries to forward comments to them by 11th July, in time for a committee meeting on 14th July.
Copies of the notes and diagrams have been pinned on the section notice boards in the Wiltshire Room.
